²⁶ Indeed, everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe that?”

²⁷ “Yes, Lord,” she told him. “I believe that you are the Messiah,^[a] the Son of God, the one who was to come into the world.”

²⁸ When she had said this, she went away and called her sister Mary and told her privately, “The Teacher is here and is calling for you!”
